The Ford Expedition for the model year 2021 would be available on the market with the same 4 trim levels as its previous model. Check them out below:

New Changes Expected 
Car enthusiasts are expecting just one major change. Both these large SUVs could have some extra standard features. Plus, the Lincoln Navigator for the model year 2021 might come up with a hybrid model. However, nothing can be said with certainty about that. 
 
MPG
In case both these models of large SUVs remain unaltered, one can expect the same fuel economy figures as that of the 2020 model year. It would mean that the 2021 Ford Expedition will offer a mileage of 17 mpg on city roads and 23 mpg on highways. On the other hand, the Lincoln Navigator will give a mileage of 16 mpg on city roads and 23 mpg on highways. 
 
Plug-in Hybrid/Hybrid
Lincoln Navigator, as well as Ford Expedition, are slated to start manufacturing hybrid models. However, no details have been shared about when to expect them on the market.
 
Towing Capacity
The Ford Expedition for the model year 2021 has a slightly more towing capacity of up to 9,300 pounds. On the other hand, the maximum towing capacity of the new Lincoln Navigator is expected to be 8,700 pounds. 
 
Performance 
It is expected that the new Ford Expedition will continue with the same powertrain choices. Its base model produces a horsepower of 375 and offers an EcoBoost V6 turbocharged 3.5-liter engine. The Platinum produces a horsepower of 400 instead. The engines feature a 10-speed automatic transmission. 
 
Meanwhile, if there are no changes in the new Lincoln Navigator, one can expect a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter, V6 engine producing a horsepower of 400.
 
Seating Capacity
The 2021 Lincoln Navigator, as well as the 2021 Ford Expedition, offer a seating capacity of 7/8 occupants who can sit comfortably. 
 
Interior Design 
Both the new Lincoln Navigator and the new Ford Expedition offer similar layouts and features. However, the former offers some extra luxury element that also increases its price tag.
