  1. Environmental – A major benefit is that an electric car does not produce emissions, which means it’s kind to the environment. It can also help reduce global warming by limiting the amount of greenhouse gases produced. This is even more beneficial if you are able to use renewable energy, such as solar power, to generate electricity for your vehicle.
  2. Financial Benefits of Electric Cars – Another reason why people buy electric vehicles is that they cost significantly less money to run than traditional cars. As well as being cheaper to buy in many countries thanks to government incentives, running costs are cut by around two-thirds. With no oil, gas, or engine maintenance to worry about, electric vehicles are a very low-cost option for drivers.
  3. Stylish – Another benefit of an electric car is that they are very stylish. Many have sleek, futuristic designs which are sure to turn heads wherever you drive it.
  4. Commuting becomes more economical – When driving an electric car, you will use far less energy than when driving a petrol or diesel car. This means that the money you would have normally spent on fuel can now be used for other things, such as reducing your commute time or buying a more expensive car.

There are many reasons why people buy electric vehicles, but the three main benefits are environmental friendliness, cost savings, and style. Electric cars produce zero emissions, which is great for the environment. They also tend to be cheaper to run than traditional cars and are often very stylish. Lincoln is one of the most trusted vehicle brands because it has been around for a very long time. Over the years, it has built up an excellent reputation with car lovers all over the world by producing high-quality vehicles that meet or exceed expectations. Furthermore, Lincoln’s dedication to safety goes back decades, even before federal safety standards were established in 1966 by presidential order.

The company was founded in 1917 by Henry M. Leland. It got its name from Abraham Lincoln who had steered his country through turmoil and strife toward a brighter future. During World War I, Lincoln helped churn out over 8,000 trucks which were vital to the war effort. By 1922, the founder had passed but his legacy lived on as Ford acquired the brand that same year.

Lincoln’s long history of vehicle production has allowed it to find innovative ways to create safer vehicles for drivers across the world. For example, in 1923, Lincoln became one of the first car brands to feature safety glass before all other automakers were required by law to do so starting in the 1960s. Over time, interior components have become more ergonomic and adjustable allowing drivers to sit comfortably which helps improve attention spans. The company has always been at the forefront of innovation, making driving a delight instead of uncomfortable or dangerous as it had been before Lincoln was founded.

The modern-day company continues its tradition of excellence by delivering high-quality cars that are efficient yet luxurious with every purchase. Great care is taken when producing each vehicle to ensure that the final product goes above and beyond expectations.

Cars from Lincoln have always been reliable, safe, and affordable. The current lineup of vehicles is no different with most coming standards with features like airbags, GPS navigation, leather upholstery, Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free driving, touch screen infotainment systems depending on which trim you select. For example, the 2017 MKX comes standard with 19 airbags while the 2018 Navigator has 22 airbags for optimal safety in extreme conditions.

Modern-day Lincoln vehicles are not only popular for their style but also their value as every model has roomy interiors with high-tech amenities often found on pricier cars. All models come equipped with important safety features like airbags, collision alert systems, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors on certain models.

The new MKC compact crossover SUV features extras like a push-button start with proximity key entry for added security. The 2017 Continental model comes standard with a voice-activated touch screen infotainment system with hands-free access to your phone’s contacts and music library via Bluetooth connection. Plus it has very comfortable seating for up to five passengers so you don’t feel crowded on long drives!

Therefore next time you are in the market for a safe yet stylish vehicle that is packed with high-tech amenities but won’t cost an arm and a leg, stop by Lexington Park Lincoln where our friendly staff will be happy to help you find the perfect car for your needs!

2022 Lincoln Navigator parked on a snowed lot with snow-capped mountains in the background

The Lincoln Motor Company was founded by Henry Leland in 1917 with the aim of competing with Cadillac, one of the top luxury automakers at that time. To accomplish this, Abe Lincoln (yes, he’s related to Honest Abe) ordered his engineers to build “a motorcar for the great multitude” that would be just as refined and reliable as any other car on the market but without all the flashy frills that most people couldn’t afford anyway. When they were done, he gave it a name worthy of its heritage: Model K.

Here’s Why Lincoln Has An Eye For High-Performace Luxury:

1) Lincoln had a long history of high-performance luxury cars: The first Lincoln car was introduced in 1922 and by 1930, they started to experiment with V12 engines. In the following decades, the brand experimented with new features such as self-leveling air suspension and push-button gear selections (which is still used today). They even had an engine that could shut down 4 cylinders when cruising which brought them close to their goal of using variable displacement like some Formula 1 car do nowadays.

2) Lincoln actually designed its own turbocharger: Of course there were turbochargers back then but this one was different – it was designed and built by Lincoln engineers who wanted better airflow at lower revolutions. When you also consider that the car was made mostly out of aluminum, you can imagine how it would perform.

3) Lincoln actually designed its own supercharger: The Mark VIII LSC (1998-2002) was the last production model to feature this hot little number that could produce up to 10 psi of boost in low revolutions. Of course, this required specially-tuned cams and other goodies that helped tremendously when accelerating at higher speeds or when climbing hills, but it also translated into better fuel economy under normal driving conditions so you didn’t have to choose between performance and efficiency. If you ask me, I say bring the supercharger back! And while we’re at it, why not work on variable displacement again? Only time will tell…

4) Lincoln was all about motorsports: Racing is the ultimate test of any high-performance vehicle. And not only has Lincoln been involved with racing, but they were actually at the forefront of it too. The Mark II LSC (1966-1969) was built for Detroit’s Police Interceptor and had a 450 hp V8 capable of propelling it to 126 mph top speed – that’s a pretty good performance from a full-size luxury car in 1967! In fact, I know a lot of companies that wish their cars could do this today…

5) Lincoln didn’t advertise much: They preferred to let word-of-mouth do its work since a high-performance luxury car was sold on reputation more than anything else. And so far, this tactic has worked out pretty well for them by making the brand garnered a lot of respect from car enthusiasts all around the world.
